In mid-February 2026, the Tokyo Foundation welcomed the SIGNAL Group from Israel for an exchange of views.

During the meeting, participants discussed a range of topics, including the evolving situation in China, geopolitical challenges surrounding "the Free and Open Indo-Pacific (FOIP)," and potential avenues for collaboration leveraging the expertise of both organizations.

The SIGNAL Group is an Israeli policy research institute specializing in the strategic relationship among Israel, China, and the Indo-Pacific region. Based on our mission to contribute to solving social issues through dialogue and collaboration with diverse stakeholders, the Tokyo Foundation will continue to further deepen its partnerships with international policy research networks and work toward providing policy recommendations from a long-term perspective.
