The Tokyo Foundation for Policy Research announces the following leadership changes, as of January 2024.

Yohei Sasakawa, chairman of The Nippon Foundation, was appointed honorary chair of the Tokyo Foundation for Policy Research on January 5. His term will be through the Board of Directors meeting in June 2028.

Sanae Oda has resigned as executive director, effective December 31, 2023.

Hidewo Furukawa was appointed executive director on January 5, 2024 (elected executive director at the fifty-eighth meeting of the Board of Directors). His term will be through the end of the regular Board of Trustees meeting in 2024.
