Bio
After working at the Osaka Mishima Emergency Medical Center, she worked as an infection control nurse in the Republic of Palau with the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (2000-2002). After returning to Japan, she obtained certification as an infection control nurse and worked at hospitals. Was an assistant professor at Seisen University School of Nursing (2011) and a lecturer at Miyagi University School of Nursing (2021) before assuming her current position in 2021.
She is also a board member of NPO Clean Hands, a member of the Japan Disaster Relief Team as an infection control nurse, a board member of the Japanese Society of International Nursing, and a technical expert member of JICA’s Overseas Cooperation Volunteers.
