Future Structure of the World Economy (2009-12)

Active Years: 2009-2012

The shockwaves of the financial crisis have brought seismic changes to the global economy of the post-Cold War era. To help build a more stable world economy and financial order after the crisis is over, the Structure of the World Economy in the Wake of the Financial Crisis project conducts interviews and surveys to gain a clear picture of the damage caused by the crisis, the progress being made in dealing with nonperforming assets, and the status of plans for new regulations. We aim to present proposals for effective ways of responding to the crisis based on a theoretical analysis of the data obtained.
