Bio

From 1998 to 2005 served in the Ministry of Finance. Has been a visiting fellow at the School of International Studies, Peking University. Has served in the Country Assistance Planning Division of the Economic Cooperation Bureau and the First Southeast Asia Division of the Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau, both at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Earned his master’s degree from the University of Hong Kong and doctorate from Department of International Politics, School of International Studies, Peking University. Has been in his present post since 2008.
